Chris Garrett made his mark on Ohio special teams as a true freshman. He led the MAC and was 7th in the nation with a 14.5 yard punt return average. Garrett was also a threat on offense as a runner and receiver. He tied for the team lead with 13 plays of 20 yards or longer, including five punt returns.
