The life of a walk-on football player is not very glamorous. You go through the same practices as the scholarship guys without any promise of playing time or getting to travel with the team. But walk-ons can be a vital cog to a successful football program. Coach Frank Solich has assembled his first group of walk-ons at Ohio and included in that group is Adam Olsheski. Olsheski, a 6-3 freshman tight end from Hilliard Darby High School, turned down opportunities to play college ball at lower levels for a chance to walk-on with the Bobcats. In high school, has was a 3-year letterwinner and an All-Conference performer as a senior. BobcatAttack.com's Rollie Merriman talked with Adam about playing football for Ohio.
