Cat Fight in Lexington

The Ohio football team travels to Lexington, Kentucky for a Saturday night matchup with the University of Kentucky. The Bobcats (2-4 Overall, 1-2 MAC) are coming off their best performance of the season. True freshman quarterback Austen Everson accounted for all four scores in Ohio's 28-0 shutout of UCF last week. The Kentucky Wildcats (2-4, 0-3 SEC), meanwhile, are looking to get back on track after near misses against Florida and South Carolina in its last two games.

Both teams enter the contest with injury questions at quarterback. Injuries to Fred Ray and Ryan Hawk led to Everson's start against UCF. Head coach Brian Knorr hasn't named Saturday's starter yet. Kentucky QB Jared Lorenzen suffered a concussion late in its game vs. South Carolina. Lorenzen, 5th on the SEC's all-time passing yardage list, has been cleared to start against Ohio. However, backup Shane Boyd led two late touchdown scoring drives against South Carolina. Boyd is considered more of a running threat and may see action against the Bobcats.
