ATHENS – Ohio added 24 players in its 2014 football recruiting class on Wednesday.

The class includes 21 freshmen and three junior college athletes. Among them are 16 players from Ohio, players from seven other states and one from Canada.

ATHENS – Ohio has had its share of struggles this season – especially in losing three straight games – but the Bobcats put all of that behind them and trounced UMass, 51-23, in their regular season finale Friday at Peden Stadium.

ATHENS – Ohio lost its third straight game in blowout fashion, falling 44-13 to Kent State on Tuesday night at Peden Stadium.

BOWLING GREEN – Ohio was held to 172 yards and was held without a touchdown for the second straight Tuesday night road game, falling 49-0 to Bowling Green at Doyt Perry Stadium.
