Steve Esterkamp led Ohio (3-5) with 24 points and Thomas Stephens poured in a career-high 23. Brandon Hunter had a career-high 24 rebounds to go with 18 points. Ohio takes on Wisconsin tonight at the Kohl Center in Madison. The Bobcats (2-4) are looking to build off their Friday night win over Navy. The Badgers (7-2), meanwhile, are playing their second game in two days after they defeated Texas Southern Saturday. Their leading scorer, Kirk Penney (17.3 PPG), sprained an ankle in practice yesterday but is expected to play tonight.

Wisconsin survived a quick Ohio start on its way to a 75-51 win Monday night at the Kohl Center in Madison. The Bobcats (2-5) nailed their first four 3-point attempts on the way to a 12-2 lead. Ohio battled ice-cold shooting and Navy but hung on for a 54-52 win Friday night at the Convocation Center. The Bobcats (2-4) won their home opener despite shooting 27% from the field, 19% from the 3-point line and 56% from the charity stripe. Brandon Hunter put up a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Also in double figures were Sonny Johnson with 13 and Steve Esterkamp with 11.

Like the Bobcats (1-3), Boston (3-4) has struggled to start the season after receiving favorable preseason press. The Terriers were picked to finish 1st in the America East after representing that conference in the NCAA Tourney last year while posting a 22 win season.

Poor shooting plagued Ohio as it was routed 78-57 at Boston University Friday night. The Bobcats (1-4) shot just 34% (18-for-53) from the field including a woeful 19% (3-for-16) behind the 3-point arc. Meanwhile, a BU (4-4) squad that came in shooting just under 38%, got healthy at the expense of the Ohio defense. The Terriers were 29-for-57 (51%) from the floor and hit all 15 of their free throw attempts.

Turnovers plagued Ohio as it dropped a 73-65 decision to DePaul Tuesday night in Chicago. The Bobcats committed 19 turnovers compared to just 7 for the Blue Demons. Delonte Holland led DePaul scoring with 22 points. Sam Hoskin added 20 and Joe Tulley chipped in with 12. For Ohio, Sonny Johnson led the way with 22 and Brandon Hunter and Delvar Barrett contributed 14 and 10 respectively. While it is a road game for the Cats (0-1), they will be playing at the same Dunkin' Donuts Center where they lost to Providence Saturday.
