Northern Illinois recorded the 1,000th basketball win in school history with a 73-63 triumph over Ohio Saturday afternoon in DeKalb. The Huskies (6-6 Overall, 1-1 MAC) got 17 points from Todd Peterson who hit five 3-pointers. Poor shooting again plagued Ohio (3-8, 0-2) which shot just 29.7% for the game. Thomas Stephens led the Bobcats with 21 points. Delvar Barrett and Jaivon Harris chipped in with 14 and 11 points respectively.

Alando Tucker's 22 points keyed #19 Wisconsin to a 71-48 win over Ohio at the Rock N Roll Shootout at Gund Arena Saturday night. The Badgers (8-1) sprinted out to a 22-10 lead on the way to a 39-26 halftime edge. Ohio would get no closer than 11 points the rest of the way. Thomas Stephens had 13 points and was the only player in double figures for the Bobcats (3-7). The game marked the second time this season that Ohio has failed to score 50 points.

The Ohio basketball team dug itself a hole it couldn't get out of in losing 53-46 at the University of San Francisco Saturday night. The Bobcats (2-6) got behind 21-4 to start the game and couldn't battle all the way back. A Thomas Stephens jumper would tie the game at 44 with 1:27 to play.
