Ohio put the clamps on Butler shooters on the way to a 64-58 win Thursday night at the Convocation Center. The Bulldogs (3-1) shot just 35% for the game, including 28% in the second half, and hit just 7 of 29 3-point attempts. Freshman point guard Jeremy Fears led the Bobcats (2-0) with 16 points. Mychal Green added 13 and Terren Harbut chipped in with 10. The win avenged last year's one-point loss at Butler in the Bracket Buster.

Ohio opened the season on the right note in posting an 81-66 win over San Francisco Monday night at the Convocation Center. Sophomore Sonny Troutman led five Bobcats in double figures with 15 points.
