Leon Williams' 28-point, 15-rebound performance led Ohio past Cornell 102-89 Saturday night at the Convo. Also having big scoring nights were Bubba Walther and Jerome Tillman with 25 and 21 points respectively. Justin Orr and Michael Allen each had 11 points to round out the double-figure scoring. Allen, making his Bobcat debut, also handed out nine assists.

It wasn't as easy a game as the final score would indicate. Cornell shot 61% from the floor in the first half on the way to a 46-43 halftime lead. The Big Red would stretch the lead to 68-60 with 14:05 to play. A Williams 3-point play and seven straight points from Walther keyed a 25-5 run that put the Bobcats ahead to stay. Cornell had six players in score in double figures led by Jason Hartford's 18 points. Ohio is back in action on November 26th when it visits Patriot League preseason favorite Holy Cross.
