Ohio Hoops gets Murray State transfer

Ohio basketball added to its roster today as Murray State forward Justin Orr has decided to transfer and play for the Bobcats. The 6-6 Orr will sit out next season and have two years of eligibility remaining starting in 2007-08.
Orr started 26 of 31 games for Murray St. last season. He averaged 8.9 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 44% from the field and 31% from the 3-point line. The Racers finished 24-7 and dropped a hard-fought 69-65 decision to North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tourney. However, head coach Mick Cronin would leave for the Cincinnati job following the season. As a freshman, Orr played 21.0 miuntes per game while aveaging 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds.
Orr played high school ball at Cincinnati LaSalle. His senior year was cut short by a knee injury but was named All-City by the Cincinnati Enquirer. He is the nephew of the former NBA star Louis Orr.
