Ohio withstood a dramatic Bowling Green comeback in regulation before posting a 93-90 win in two overtimes Saturday at Anderson Arena. Antonio Chatman led the Bobcats (13-6, 7-4 MAC) with a career-high 19 points. The win broke an Ohio 3-game losing streak and was its first at Bowling Green since 1999. The MAC's leading scorer, Martin Samarco, had 28 to pace the Falcons (8-13, 4-7 MAC).

Ohio led 69-56 with 3:05 to play when BG started on a 14-1 run in which Samarco scored all the points. He started with two free throws, hit three straight 3-pointers and closed with a conventional 3-point play to tie the game at 70 with 1:22 left. The Bobcats had three shots in the final minute but could get none to fall and went to overtime after Samarco's shot at the buzzer didn't connect.

It looked like Ohio's struggles at Bowling Green would continue at the end of the first overtime. Trailing 77-75 with 7 seconds left, Mychal Green missed two free throws. But Green rebounded his miss and put up a shot that Sonny Troutman tipped in with 2.9 seconds left to send the game to a second OT.

Samarco would hit another big shot in the second overtime, a 3-pointer, to tie the game at 90 with :18 to go. BG's Brian Moten, thinking his team was still behind, then immediately fouled Antonio Chatman who hit one free throw for a 91-90 Ohio lead. Perrick Robinson missed a potential game-winning jumper that Johnnie Jakson rebounded to secure the win.
