Antonio Chatman scored 20 points in his Bobcat debut to lead Ohio to an 86-70 win over Mercyhurst College Saturday afternoon in the Convocation Center. In all, four Bobcats would finish in double-figure scoring. Jeremy Fears had 17 points, Sonny Troutman 16 while Johnnie Jackson ended with 11. Leon Williams scored just nine points but pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.

Mychal Green (knee) and Jerome Tillman (mononucleosis) were forced to miss the game. Ohio tips off its season for real when it hosts St Francis (PA) on November 26th.
