Bobcats down Falcons 72-69

A late 9-0 run lifted Ohio to a 72-69 win over Bowling Green Saturday afternoon at the Convocation Center. The run started with the Bobcats (10-7, 5-4 MAC) trailing 66-61 with 4:44 left in the game. It was capped by two Mychal Green free throws with 21 seconds left that put Ohio up 70-66. Cory Eyink's 3-pointer with :11 left cut the Falcons deficit to one. But OU's Terren Harbut hit two foul shots with :09 left to secure the victory.

For the second straight game, five Bobcats finished in double figure scoring. Jeremy Fears and Sonny Troutman led the way with 14 points apiece. John Reimold was high scorer for the Falcons (12-7, 6-3) with 23 points. The win moves Ohio to 8-0 this season in the Convo. The 'Cats are back on the road Wednesday night at Buffalo.
