Ohio lost a chance to host a first-round MAC tourney game after dropping a 73-62 decision at Kent St. Saturday. Instead, the Bobcats (12-15 Overall, 8-10 MAC) will play at Akron Monday night. The win gave the Golden Flashes (19-8, 12-6) their third straight MAC East title, a 2-seed and bye in the MAC tournament. Brandon Hunter and Steve Esterkamp each posted double-doubles for the 'Cats. Hunter scored 23 points and 10 boards while Esterkamp went for 17 and 12 respectively. Kent State's Antonio Gates led all scorers with 24.
