OU loses to BU, 67-64, in Double OT

Ohio went two overtimes before losing 67-64 to Boston University Wednesday night at the Convocation Center. Both teams slugged through a first half that ended with BU up 20-17. For the half, the Terriers shot 32% from the floor and the Bobcats a lowly 25%. But Ohio would fight back and send the game into overtime when Thomas Stephens' layup tied the game at 50. A Jeff Halbert 3-pointer that tied the game at 59 with :11 left would send the game into another overtime. In the second OT, Ohio took a quick 61-59 lead however a 7-1 run by the Terriers (2-3) would secure the win.
Delvar Barrett led Ohio (1-4) scoring with 14 points. He was joined in double figures by Sonny Troutman (13), Diamond Gladney (12) and Jeff Halbert (10). Boston University's Rashad Bell was the game-high scorer with 23 points followed closely by Chaz Carr's 22. Ohio plays game three of their four-game homestand Saturday at 2:00 against Brown.
