Ohio has announced the signings of Illinois point guard Jeremy Fears and Baltimore-area power forward Leon Williams to National Letters-of intent. The 6'3" Fears is rated as one of the 10 best players in Illinois by Prep Spotlight. Fears averaged 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists per game last year for Joliet Twp. High School and is a nominee for the McDonald's All-America Team. He chose Ohio over Purdue and Southwest Missouri St. Williams, a 6'7" 235-pounder, preps for Cardinal Gibbons High School in Maryland. He averaged 14 points and 12 rebounds as a junior earning All-Baltimore Catholic League honors.
