Poor shooting plagued Ohio as it was routed 78-57 at Boston University Friday night. The Bobcats (1-4) shot just 34% (18-for-53) from the field including a woeful 19% (3-for-16) behind the 3-point arc. Meanwhile, a BU (4-4) squad that came in shooting just under 38%, got healthy at the expense of the Ohio defense. The Terriers were 29-for-57 (51%) from the floor and hit all 15 of their free throw attempts.
Boston U.'s Jason Grochowalski led all scorers with 18 points. Paul Seymour and Billy Collins finished with 17 and 12 points respectively. Sonny Johnson was high man for Ohio with 17 and Brandon Hunter chipped in 16. The Bobcats return to Athens for their home opener next Friday against Navy.
