KENT – Ohio slowed the highest scoring team in the Mid-American Conference, but it could not produce enough offense while shooting 29.7% in a 72-57 loss to Kent State on Tuesday night at the MAC Center.

The Bobcats held the Golden Flashes to 31% shooting in the first half, but they finished strong to put away the Bobcats late.

ATHENS – Ohio shot just 32.8% on the night as Akron built a 22-point halftime lead and rolled to an 86-65 victory Friday night at The Convo.

TOLEDO – Toledo shot 61.9% for the game and snapped Ohio’s five-game winning streak 101-85 on Tuesday night at Savage Arena.

Ohio (10-8, 4-2 Mid-American Conference) mostly kept pace in the first half, trialing 52-50 at the break, but Toledo (10-7, 4-1 MAC) did not let up in the second half.
