Agreed, especially considering that Ohio lost 2 of their top 3 QBs (Rourke to the portal and Harris to unknown health issue). I expect we will see increased emphasis on securing a Freshman or 2, and a transfer or two between now and the February signing date.

It's interesting to see how hard some schools were hit by the portal. Vandy lost their top three QBs to the portal (Swann to LSU, Seals to ???, and Taylor to Colorado), but they responded by adding two Freshmen and two transfers in (Berlowitz from NMSU and Johnson from Utah). Oregon State lost their top 2 QBs to the portal, but only added one Freshman, and so far, none from the portal, so I presume they are still looking.
Vandy also added a super-fast mid-major WR named Johnson from Alabama State. Their Johnson and Johnson offense should be exciting but since they play Georgia, Alabama, Texas, etc - don't expect many wins.

My guess is that they will look to add 2 quarterbacks. Will they be Freshmen? Juco? Portal players? I have no idea. I do know that Ohio has 14 players in the portal at the moment. I'm guessing, but have no idea, that another 20 players or so used up their eligibility. That would mean that Ohio could take 34 new players. 25 of those could be Freshmen, so they will at least need ~9 players from the portal.

I expect the Ohio staff to be very busy the next few weeks reviewing film, and talking to people, trying to find more excellent additions the Bobcat team. Go
