It's Monroe's fault....he said it's never too early for a wish list....probably have a few changes since it is early but what the heck...this class at least misses the Mayan 2012 extinction prediction.


To match our offense you'll see one RB....plus we lose a few WR's so the need is there.

(Edit...more than one RB would be nice....but we added  David Fulcher Jr. and Dallas Brown is being redshirted)

QB-Greg Winham-6'1"-215-Tampa, FL-had offers from UC and Troy and VERBAL TO OHIO.

RB-Dazmond Patterson-5'8"-170-Plant City, FL-DAZzles as a RB and receiver and VERBAL TO OHIO.

WR-Chris Murray-5'11"-185-Tampa, FL-had official visit during Marshall game and VERBAL TO OHIO.

WR-Matt Waters-6'1"-200-Iowa JUCO-great hands possesion type receiver and VERBAL TO OHIO. 

WR-Jordan Reid-6'3"-190-Lilburn, GA-also plays DB and VERBAL TO OHIO.

WR-Roger Lewis-6'2"-190-Pickerington-4 star recruit could be coming.

TE-John Tanner-6'4"-245-Cincy Moeller-had a great visit from a decent program and VERBAL TO OHIO.

TE/WR-Mike Roberts-6'6"-240-Cle. Benedictine-also plays DE and VERBAL TO OHIO.

OL-Troy Watson-6'6"-285-Aurora-great size/speed ratio and VERBAL TO OHIO.

OL-Nick Gibbons-6'4"-300-Stone, GA-multiple BCS offers and VERBAL TO OHIO.

Yeah...I look for us to make a major push on that.....we like to snatch up those RB's a tad later.....not sayin we get slim pickins.... just that we've had a recent history of going after some good ones later in the game.

Hey Doc, you still have two very good TE/DE's in the state of Nebraska. Cotton and Drew Ott are committed to Nebraska and Iowa respectively, but this is a big year here for talent.  Joe Jasnowski of Creighton Prep (Where Jon Lechner Ohio OL) played his high school ball and Matt Miller out of Omaha Skutt.  Both are very talented and could end up with DI offers going into this fall or during the fall.  They are both similar builds at just shy of 6'5" and 225lbs.

Also Garrett Johns out of Aurora is a diamond in the ruff.  He is a bit shorter than your average OL but very good.

Just a few names in the great state of Nebraska to watch out for.

Other schools are welcome to the goal of announcing lots of recruits early.  I like us getting quality young men who understand Athens and O-H-I-O without regard to when they commit.
