Is this the best class on paper?? I think prior to yesterday it was without a doubt..today not so sure. Still a great group and none of that matters for a yr or 2 and they have to prove it on the field!

8 guys with BCS offers plus the JUCO(s) says its better than last year, though last year was the best ever up to that date. A slightly better class than last season.

I know Clark doesn't even necessarily rate as the top player by some of the services, but his actually scholarship offers seem to be of the highest caliber of any player I can remember the Bobcats getting. By my count, he had 11 offers to BCS schools, including to a school (Arkansas) that finished this past season ranked fifth in the country.

Seems like Kenny Ashley fit that bill. Or going back further maybe Wiz White.

Right about Clark. With Wiggins off the board that only gives this class 7 guys with BCS offers. The real difference may be at the bottom of the class more so than the top with only 1 true freshman (Toran Davis) not to receive any other scholarship offers compared with 6 last year. This group of course is joining what is a very good 10 win team from last season. A lot of finishing touches to the program have been acquired with this class.

I know Ashley was highly recruited out of high school but by the time he signed with Ohio, I don't remember him having quite the same kind of offers out of junior college. Wiz White was before I started paying much attention to recruiting.

Not having Wiggins is disappointing, but I agree with others. I'm glad he made a decision for what's best for him now, rather than later. I wish him well.

I'm still extremely pleased with the class as a whole, especially if some of the lower rated players prove to be under-valued as many in the past have.

Toran Davis had an offer from Toledo and interest from Ga. Tech and others. Not sure why that info never made it on to the Internet.

LaVon flat out went up and got one at end game at the one yard line on the blue carpet.  I think that I'm among the many who didn't appreciate completely until now what that represented for the just concluded season and the future of BOBCAT FOOTBALL.

Doc Bobcat files a petition today to officially make his birthday February 1.

He also received an award for best linebacker at the Ohio State camp an impressive credential.

Thanks, Paul. I watched a lot of video, and I don't claim to be a judge - it's so hard to compare for me because the levels of talent are so variable. Nevertheless, a few guys impressed me more than I expected. I think this looks like a great class.
