Nice, looks like Austin Everson with much better accuracy. Always pick the right wide receiver, he looks good. If you wanted to criticize something, you could say he puts a little air under his passes, but he has a great touch. He looks like an excellent QB.

I see he had offers from N. Carolina and Wake Forest, plus Miami(Fl), Colorado St, App St, E. Carolina, Mercer, Coastal Carolina, Charleston Southern, and James Madison. He's another consensus 3-star recruit.

I'm sure there will be a naysayer or 2 from The Dark Side who will predict we lose these 2 QBs....no way we lose both...from their interviews it seems theyre impressed by campus...academics...and coaches. If I'm the recruiting coordinator I'm pushing to all the other potential recruits that we have 2 of the finest QBs in the entire country...and some 3 star defensive guys for this class.

If the 2 QB recruits are impressed with the coaching staff, I presume that means that Coach Solich has no plans of retiring in the next 3-4 years. I assume that, because if I'm these kids' parents, I'm bluntly asking Coach Solich at the very beginning of the recruiting process how much longer he plans on staying as he'll be 72 when the season starts. I wouldn't send my kid to a school where the coach plans on retiring in a year or so. So the staff must be telling these recruits and their parents that's its going to be status quo for the next several years.

CAVEAT: I realize that in recruiting most coaches will say anything and lie through their teeth to get the recruit. From afar Coach Solich appears to be the kind of person that wouldn't do that. Maybe I'm wrong on that but he seems pretty above board.

I would guess that the answer he gives to the parents is the same one he gives to the press, that he will continue coaching for as long as his health is good and he's having fun. How long will the be? Compare it to other Mac coaches. They stay on average about four years. On average they are midway through their stay, so on average they have about two years left.

One thing I like seeing in the film is him engaging contact instead of shying away from it. I hope he is durable for the transition to college ball.

Oh the position is earmarked to someone else. There is only one returning QB, it is conceivable that he or our other frosh can beat him out.

We had a QB visit during the Akron game. Is this really a big surprise?
