I see this guy was ranked last in the class for Ohio by 247 sports...Anyone want to bet his career finishes near the top instead?
There has not been a year in a long time where the lowest rated player did not quickly become a starter, so that would be expected. Excluding players not rated at all, the lowest rated players in recent classes:
2018 - 3-way Tie: O'Shaan Allison, Jerome Buckner, Keye Thompson. Allison and Buckner are vying for the starting job as Redshirt Freshmen. Thompson is further back in the depth chart, but did play in games as a true Freshman.
2017 - Hagan Meservy, followed by Julian Ross. Both are projected starters this fall
2016 - Dylan Connor, projected as a starter this fall
2015 - Adam and Ryan Leuhrman - projected as starters this fall
2014 - Brett Layton and Mitch Bonnstetter - both were multi-year starters
2013 - Cameron McLeod and Brendon Cope - both were multi-year starters
