Evan and his family are a tribute to the Youngstown area and Ohio Bobcat football

I hope he has great season and see what opportunities present themselves at the end of his collegiate career

He played with a labrum injury last season which was addressed in off season surgery

Croutch earned All-MAC honors for the first time in his career and gave Ohio an all-conference selection at linebacker for the fifth year in a row. He led the team with a career-high 90 total tackles (59 solo, 31 assisted) for a team-high 6.9 tackles per game. His career-high 5.5 sacks led the squad, and he tied for the team lead with a career-high two interceptions. He also led the team with 14 tackles for loss. Croutch tallied double-digit tackles on four occasions in 2018 and helped Ohio rank as the second-best rushing defense in the league, limiting the opposition to just 137.1 rushing yards per game. He was named 2018 DXL Frisco Bowl Defensive Player of the Game after recording a game-high 11 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in the 27-0 win over San Diego State, helping the Bobcats secure the MAC's first-ever shutout in a bowl win. Croutch finished his Ohio career with 200 total tackles (120 solo, 80 assisted), 8.5 sacks, two interceptions and one forced fumble.
