Spelling to search is Ryan Luehrman.

Hudl lets us see the Athens QB pass protection. The RB could take a nap. Hope T. Williams is getting some blocking practice in practice.

I guess that means there is still a space open. Your link to ESPN didn't work for me. This one should work:

He appears to have no other offers. At 6-4", he's a tall one.

It doesn't say he has been offered. It says he has been contacted by Ohio and Ashland to possibly continue his football career.

I'm all for local boy makes good. But not for the sake of simply offering local boy. Ashland? Really. Aim high hit high. Aim low...

I suspect that UpSan Bobcat is correct, and that he wasn't offered a scholarship, but rather was invited to consider walking on.

I like his size and most of all that he is excelling in two sports and is good in a third. Ryan will likely be one of the young men who will continue to become bigger, stronger and faster in college. He might be a future A.J.

After watching the last couple weeks, I think we should find a spot for this guy and redshirt him until we figure out a position. A good football player, period.

+1

Take both of the twins. These guys are tremendous.

Was just saying this after the game. Ryan is probably the more athletic of the two, but both are 6'5" with great hands. I could see Adam being a stud tight end if they put some more muscle on him and Ryan could get it done at the WR spot.

After watching Athens for the first time this season, I came away very impressed with the twins, more so than anyone else. Everyone played well, just liked their style. We need to find a spot for them.

I could see the kid getting Preferred Walk-On status if we are the only D1 team even considering him.

The Athens kids may be tremendous. But I worry about recruiting so heavily locally. I hope that we're not settling for what's easy.

The All-MAC teams lack of OHIO is not acceptable.

I would love to see both of them on the roster next year. They are still skinny. Preferred walk-ons, redshirt, groom them as pass-catching tight ends. Dominant MAC players.

Do they have any speed? Like d1 college speed?

it doesn't matter where they live, if they can play., and they can play. There's no reason not to sign the three receivers from Athens. But they'll probably end up at another MAC school and come back to burn us. Then everyone on this board will be complaining about the fact they're not Bobcats.

It would not bode well for OU if the Luehrman twins went to another school in the MAC and came back to Athens to haunt them for 4 years. After watching them against SVSM and TCC in the state playoffs, they can play at the next level for sure.

Any news on this front? I keep hearing rumors they have an offer. Not sure what type of offer.

Per Arkley tweet, both twins are grayshirts. They won't be listed as a part of the 2015 class, but will have scholarships come 2016.
https://twitter.com/JasonAmessenger

Here are their HUDLs:
Adam - http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1520142/highlights/215427377/v2
Ryan - http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1520135/highlights/219668376/v2

Scout.com now lists them as recruits, and lists both at DE. I have no idea where they will play, but I suppose that's possible. TE seems possible, too.

I never really paid attention to Athens hs football in the past. So do any of you older guys recall them ever having football players get D1 scholarships before? Im sure it happened but I gotta think it's pretty rare.
