How does SCLSU get recruits? Thought I would ask, since they are who Coach A. aspires to be.

We should schedule the Mud Dogs soon!

Another guy they're late to the party on. Could have offered this past summer.

Seen him play plenty of times. Sebastian Smith clone. Would be a great addition.

Smoot took an official visit with us. He would be an outstanding pickup.

It certainly appears that way. I sure hope they are hitting the transfer portal hard as well, even despite the awful season there has to be interest out there.

Ohio Wesleyan has made more offers than us in the last month.

Maybe they're looking to reprise their Amos Alanzo Stagg Bowl appearance from way back?

Does anyone know how many we are losing? It appears we may be hurting with Wide Receivers after this year. Losing the Luehrmans and Cam Odom and more. Isaiah Cox is a Redshirt Senior but not sure he if he gets another year or not. Some Freshman and others with little experience.

I went to a D-III school for one semester, and the first week of classes the head football coach walks through the freshman men's dorm and asks if anyone has played high school football. Several guys got "offers" right there in the hallway. Is that part of Albin's game plan? Inquiring minds want to know.

I will say this. If Albin sees the same talent deficit that everyone else does AND you only have one year left on your contract, that could lead you to go heavy on JUCO and transfer portal players. We'll see if that's how it shakes out.

Doesn't he have a four year contract?

Yes, but we don’t have to pay him after year two. In effect it’s a two year deal

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds very much like a two-year contract.
