You think pretty highly of yourself don’t you? You now know what everyone thinks huh?
I don’t care about what a mediocre person thinks about me, I just strive to get better each day believing that with God all things are possible. I believe that for my bobcats, let’s strive to be great. As far as me thinking high of my self, no I am humble, I just know that expecting to lose is wrong, I have done that before and learned from experience that it is wrong. Remember, I believed we would win and that you would spike the football, the score was close to what I predicted, but the wrong team won. Stop attacking people with expectations, that is not what good friends do. Now I know that I am not your friend, but we do share a similar interest, we love the bobcats. Sometimes losing is indefensible.
I don’t dislike you allen. But read your quote.

You just don’t need to cry about it like a spoiled child. Stop expecting them to win every game they play and then acting like it’s a personal insult aimed at you if they don’t. I’ve never experienced as many grown men whining and mailto:mailto:mailto:b/$&@ing like I have on this site.
Please re-read this and tell me who's crying like a spoiled child.

You throw around more personal insults on this message board than most.

Are you the grown man we're supposed to aspire to be?

Healthy debate and discussion is good ... especially when there are differing opinions.

But I'll let you get back to your high horse.

I'll just sit here in the corner and cry.

If you can't stand the way we "bitch & moan" why engage?

I certainly do NOT expect them to win every game. Never have I ... nor have I ever said this. But again, you turn people's comments into whatever fits your narrative.

Sorry I'm disappointed in watching Ohio blow a 21-0 lead in what would've been one of the better wins of the Solich era ... and a possible springboard to turning the narrative of this season around.

Instead, it was a crushing loss that left players questioning coaching decisions and leaves many wondering how they'll respond next week vs UMass. Could be a pretty important loss depending on how they bounce back. These type of losses can be season killers.

Ohio doesn't really have a good track record bouncing back from these (i.e. Akron last year ... Miami in 2012 ... Buffalo 2013 ... WMU 2015 )
You do “bitch and moan” second only to Monroe. But you are right about me engaging. I respectfully bow out and leave it to you. I will engage people at the games and then wait for the next one. You can continue to complain about how you’ve been robbed of what’s rightfully yours. Again and again. The only thing I’ve complained about is whining ass fans like you.

I haven't been on the fire anybody bandwagon.

But if we start the UMass game with Anybody UTM, Albin should be sent packing. Once again, the first two or three series were UTM on first down, UTM on second down, pass on third down. Predictable as hell. When we starting mixing it up ... including putting Rourke into routes ... that's when the offense started to gel. I think it flustered Cincy into committing stupid penalties (aided of course by the inept MAC refs). Then the second half it was back to UTM, UTM, pass and Cincy got back into the game. This is the 21st Century, but Tim is stuck in the days when football fields had squares and they ran the ball 99% of the time.
Well let’s wait until after the UMass game.

But when we win it will still be the....they stink and we should have beaten them anyway.

Everybody in the MAC is better.

Let’s fire Solich.

We will never win the MAC...waaa...waaa...waaa.
Second and goal at the one foot line and couldn't score. Nobody should be happy about that. The QB should have gone under center to sneak it for a foot. Or put AJ under center and let him sneak it for a foot.

The irony of this board, the daily bitch is Albin being predictable and Albin UTM, it’s a tired rant, but when the Cats do something different, you bitch about not running the ball up the middle. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Not going back and reading the 80 plus posts some of this might of been said but here it goes, I been saying this for years, Albin can NOT put together 4 quarters of play calling, If he gets a BIG lead he gets to safe and stops doing what got him the big lead and it costs us games usually, If we get behind he can make adjustment late only to fall short, Sure Albin has won a few big games but he is so inconsistent it has cost Ohio a lot of games that they should have won, Another thing how many passes has our TE's caught this year ? very very few, you have to spread the ball around to open up the Offense. Until Albin is gone I don't see any MAC Championships in Ohio's future unless he changes his ways and can put 4 quarters of play calling together.

I don't think anyone is full blown disappointed Ohio isn't 3-0. Pretty confident many felt losing to UVa or UC or both was certainly a possibility.

But you'd be blind to not acknowledge how they lost (and nearly lost to Howard)

Yeah ... the offense is averaging 30 a game. But they scored 6 in the 2H when it counted and couldn't punch it in from 1-inch line to win it.

Albin made that ridiculous play call to pull a guard from the 1-inch line.

The offense, as you've stated, hasn't been perfect, but it has shown flashes. But can we stop protecting Albin like he's Bill Walsh. This has been 14 years of inconsistencies when games are on the line.

And I think we're all in agreement that the defense is shaping up to be maybe worst in 20 years? Bottom 5 in country in most everything.

This football team is a mess right now and if things don't turn around starting Saturday, this could really go sideways on Frank. Lots to clean up a month into the season.

You are Dr. Football in your own mind. Listen to the coaches press conference, he said there were glaring mistakes. He said the second and goal call was a mistake. The head coach also made isphording a co offensive coordinator because of Albin’s History. Stop criticizing everybody for telling the truth. Your bullying is ineffective, you should laugh at yourself. The coach that you think you are sticking up for acknowledged the mistakes, throw in the fact that Papi White probably had the worst game of his career so yes we should be 3-0 if the team was playing to their potential, but they are not as Solich alluded to in his press conference. We blew an opportunity last week and we played a terrible half of football against Virginia so we are 1-2. You celebrating our 1-2 record cannot be possibly better than Someone saying that we should have a better record. This is not just bshot and other people’s truths it is Solich’s truth and the players truth. I am sure that they expected to win all three games. Why did they make Isphording the co offensive coordinator? Why are we in the bottom 10 defensively when we haven’t even faced a high power offense? Why is our all Mac qb passing at a 47% completion rate with an all Mac line, receiver and back? We have started slow. We are not ready. Whose fault is that? Frank Solich is a good man and he took ownership of the problems, yet you come here and berate people as if you know football. Stop, please for the love of God. Your claim to fame is cutting somebody with a water bottle and breaking their leg during spring practice. I am sorry to say that does not make you Dr. Football. We were picked to win the MAC and be a top 50 team, picked to be better than Virginia and Cincinatti, yet we as fans that agree with the sportswriters are living on another planet. Let people vent and let’s move on, none of us are leaving though some may be disappointed. Don’t try to convert us into medi’s.

To suggest that he was lying during the press conference is idiotic, however in another thread you state “Coaches make mistakes, being accountable for those mistakes is the sign of leadership,, regardless the execution by the players has to improve“. Solich was also honest about offensive and defensive third down performance, so this nullifies most of your response. The rest of your response is not in laymen’s terms and I don’t understand Dr. Football language. Isphording was made the co offensive coordinator to help Albin with the play calling and to justify paying him a higher salary for retention purposes. You will say anything to support your narrative and in this response, you gave me and others a good laugh. We should not be 1-2, but we are and we can’t change that. Let’s see if we can right this ship, versus creating medi’s. The hey Allen, you don’t even know and stop pretending sounds more like kid speak versus dr. Talk.

Yes, the defense was terrible. And, the 2nd-and-1 play might have been one of the worst play calls in the history of football. But, Andrew Meyer was absolutely held on that 3rd down play. I mean bear hugged. It looked to me like Rourke threw the ball in that direction to call attention to the situation. Anyone else see that?

Meyer certainly was impeded on that play ... not sure about bear hug. But you are 100% correct ... he was held and it happened right in front of the official ... and they did NOT call it.

Either way, you CANNOT expect any official to make the obvious call. Rourke can't expect that ... he has to throw that ball away and live to play another down. No one was going to thread that needle to Papi.

It was a poor mistake by Rourke.

But, to go back to your point, Meyer certainly had a case for holding.

Which, ironically would've give Ohio 1st and goal from inside the 1yd line .... where you can almost guarantee Albin would've dialed up another 4-yard loss ... and we'd be right back to where we started ... 5 yards from a win. HAHAHA!

He got absolutely mauled but I think the refs swallowed their whistles because it was a two yard route and Meyer had other defenders around him so they did not want give the game to Ohio. The Holy hold was painfully obvious though. They also had a very obvious hold on a 3rd and 9 or 10 screen pass. I receiver caught the ball and zigzagged through the middle of the field for 10 yards. I don’t think that it should have came down to the refs though.

HAHAHA!

For sure: Meyer is actually putting up his hands as if to say "i'm being held" before the ball is thrown. Another really funny and sad penalty was when Arp was called for hands to the face in the 4th extending that third and long because if you watch the reply the Cincy Olineman is literally grabbing and pulling Cole Baker down by the Jersey. in the very same frame of film- calling a hold too would have been nice.
