UCF had it's star QB on the sidelines due to injury. I, for one, think that if he had played UCF would have won.
Bingo - shame for UCF (and other G5 programs per L.C.) the best, and most critical player on the team was out - e.g., imagine Ohio without O'Rourke in a game against a high-end opponent. Loss of Milton gutted the team.
Ignore that LSU was missing 8 defensive starters. 😳🙄😎 knock the Love affair off of UCF. They are what they are.
Actually they were missing 5 starters and 3 reserves that stepped into those spots (which is still devastating) - just don't want folks to think they trotted 11 guys out there and 8 looked around and said "Oh Sh,,,) - but yes, they were cobbled together). Of course that takes away nothing from the great game young Mr. Burrow played as he was facing a full UCF squad. Curious though as to why the dismissal of UCF - "They are what they are" - as an Ohio fan (I assume) first and foremost , you should be thrilled and excited by the penetration UCF has made as a G5 (albeit, their situation is quite different than OUrs), and disappointed they did not have their star QB this year when taking on the SEC foe (took out Auburn last year). Instead you want to "knock off the love affair" - sounds more like the dismissiveness of a Big11 backer than an Ohio G5er.
