Wow, not a fan of its location.

Considering both of our main grandstands though are on one tier don't know where else would be best to put them. Most larger stadiums I see them look their best have upper level seating.
How about, if you know you want to add them at some juncture, when you're paying design firms a fortune to design and build the Sook Center, you include plans and electrical runs for the future for them to be installed on the face of the building, or on the roof? Then, when you're able to raise the capital to do them, all that has to be done is to purchase and install them.

The lack of a comprehensive plan when it comes to Athletics facilities is not good at Ohio - at least not when it comes to Peden. It's bad.

Along the same lines, I wonder what considerations the university took before locating the IPF where they did, which seems to crowd Peden. Were future expansion plans considered? Would it have made sense to potentially incorporate the IPF into those plans? Could be they did that. I don't know.

As it is Ohio with a listed capacity of 27,000 is actually the 4th largest stadium in the MAC behind WMU, CMU and Akron (giving them SRO credit). EMU recently tarped over 8,000 seats to reduce to the low 20s. My point is the next preemptive expansion move would be to add those courts to the Convo and throw in other facilities like a nutrition center and second weight room that also can help the football program. Then see how the crowds in Peden go and if season ticket sales pick up.
