I'm certain we'll have many of the usual naysayers here about "Boy-cee" as a venue, but having made most of our bowl trips, I can confirm it is a great town, great venue and a first class event. If you can, I'd highly recommend making the trip.

Time to smack around another Mountain West team in a bowl. Should be another Ohio win, I don’t see Nevada’s defense being able to match up with Ohio’s offense at all.

I’m glad we’re bowling....but I hate the blue field.

Thrilled we are bowling, it will never get old to me.

But, if I'm truthful I'm not going unless it's a warm weather bowl. I hate the cold!

I used to hate the blue turf, but compared to Eastern’s pewter field it’s just fine.

I like the bowl, but wish it was against a better MW opponent. I was really hoping it would be Ohio vs Utah State again. I think that would have made for a much better game. I think Ohio vs Nevada will play out a lot like Ohio vs SDSU did last last year. Nevada barely averages over 20 ppg. I just don’t see Nevads being able to outscore what Ohio will put up on the scoreboard.

Ohio has only beaten one opponent with a winning record (7-5 at that) and if Buffalo could have made an extra point, then it would be none. With Ohio’s defense, Nevada can score a lot more than 20 points.

Doesn’t Nevada also only have one win over FBS teams with a winning record?

Nevada beat Purdue early in the season and won 7 games. Nevada won 3 of the past four games. Don't take this team lightly. Ohio has played many close games this season and I expect this game will not be any different. With the struggles the Bobcats have in winning tight games, I do not know how any fan can expect an automatic victory. Go Cats and get win #7!

They do, over San Diego State. At first blush this game looks fairly even, slight nod to Nevada maybe.

Yeah, Ohio is the better team and will take care of Nevada pretty easily.

At this point in my Ohio Football rooting career I have stopped all expectations. I feel this is a fairly even matchup. Nevada has a good program. Interesting draw.

Not Paul Hershey's favorite city. For folks who remember our last trip to Boise.

Certainly cause for concern.
