And if you have not been vaccinated and that causes someone else's death (or illness, long term illness issues, etc., etc.)?

Maybe a "Vaccinated, Mitigation Protocol" section/s, and "Wild West/Libertarian/Anti-Science" section/s.....
Then it’s unvaccinated getting other unvaccinated sick. It’s a choice now. We have a path to herd Immunity (if there is a possibility of herd immunity).

Not necessarily. Some people, including athletes, have caught covid after being vaccinated. Although the cases have been mild, they might have long-term effects. And the vaccine might not work for cancer patients, transplant recipients, and people with some immune system problems. That's one reason why the vaccines are considered to be, at most, 95% effective. The unvaccinated (and maybe even the vaccinated) can still carry the covid bug and pass it along to vaccinated people who are in the 5%.

Come on

CDC Website:

115,000,000 fully vaccinated

Of those fully vaccinated:

* Only 794 Covid related hospitalizations
* Only 181 covid related deaths
* at least 79.5% of those hospitalized/deaths were over age 65

Basically, under age 65 fully vaccinated have, at worse, a 1 in 705,500 chance of being hospitalized and 1 in 3,108,000 chance of dying from covid. If they are healthy and in an open air football stadium, I would make an educated guess the risk is even lower.

Maybe the recommendation should be for the extreme at risk to not attend games or have their own dedicated section?

Someone who wasn't even at an event could get covid from someone who was. That's how a lot of the community spread occurred during the past year. I'd hate to have that on MY conscience.

Now that things are opening up let's see what happens.
