If memory serves, we've sometimes had trouble with second and third string QBs who we know little about and who have tendencies that haven't been simulated in practice. Seems to me there was once a backup QB at Akron who we made look like Joe Burrow. Anybody remember the name or the year?

I see few attempts to actually predict the outcome of this game in terms of score. I'm going to make two, as my brain is kind of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on this game.

The Dr. Jekyll side of my cortex tells me to expect OHIO to win big -- a trashsing of Akron of 46-7.

The Mr. Hyde side of my noggin tells me it'll be an ugly slug fest with multiple turn overs, incuding inopportune fumbles, interceptions, a safety called because we clip in the end zone, etc., and that Akron will win 15-9.

Well guys I’m expecting some solid dysfunction on both sides of the ball. Akron knows our defensive signals so I’m expecting there to be poor communication using the wristband method. Final prediction: Akron 34-Ohio 14.

What are our defensive signals signaling? To be inept in Man vs Zone? To blitz badly? To miss more tackles and strut around like a peacock more?
