I like the clock here. Enough time to punch in a TD to go into the half. This is still real early though and UB could make adjustments.

So we go super conservative on 2 straight possessions.

And, we are back on the penalty bandwagon. Offsides and bench penalty again?
Question: what coach can lose a 21 point lead in the first quarter and lose the game?

Pathetic way to end the half.

What the hell is this last possession before the half? I get not wanting to make mistakes and I get that we receive to start the second half, but with time and timeouts at your disposal, you have to trust your team to not make mistakes and to not allow the opponent to score when they don't have timeouts.

That's some high school JV time management. Just told the entire stadium and TV audience that our coach doesn't believe in his players OR doesn't believe in himself.

Ohio has won the last two meetings vs UB, including the last trip to Buffalo in 2019. I think Ohio's going to make it three consecutive wins over the Bulls, which would match the longest streak in series history.
In gambling, a streak starts at three wins in a row.
OHIO wouldn't face em last year so there is that too!
I need some of that Green Kool-Aid you guys are drinking. Maybe if the team is drinking it to, we have a chance.
Well they certainly must have had some too then!

We're in that same spot as the Duquesne game. Came out strong, then the opponent made adjustments and our coaches were slow to respond. Buffalo was disorganized in the first quarter but got it together in the second. Let's see if the coaches can respond.
I thought that poor clock management at the end of the half told the offense that the coaches thought they couldn't make the first down. Lack of confidence breeds lack of confidence.
We've had three plays from our one-yard line this season. Two safeties and a 99-yd TD run. Armani's run led off ABC's halftime report on the Cincy game and will likely be a Top Ten play.
Nice opening drive to start the second half but once again we shoot ourselves in the foot on the TD throw that was called back.

What a weird penalty on a 4th and 1 near the goal line to get tagged for offensive pass interference throwing the ball away on a QB draw. Thankfully the FG came in.
Good first drive on the second half almost into the 4th quarter now.

Where the hell is Tuggle? He’s nearly 6 yards a carry on only 8 carries. Allison is 2 per carry on 10 carries. He hasn’t gained a yard after first contact. The same thing happened last week. There is no excuse for not playing Tuggle.

Buffalo is probably better than Ohio but just had some bad luck.

That sequence where Ohio stops Buffalo at the 1 and Armani goes for 99 on the next play is the difference in the score right now.
I thought we had a few chances in the third to put UB away but couldn't quite do it.

Coach Alan isn’t going to disappoint me! And once again can we tackle?
Outscored 24-5 since the first quarter.
