In my earlier post I was not referring to us committing 3 turnovers but forcing 3 turnovers.

6. Interception

First half highlights should be accompanied by the Benny Hill theme.

Nice run by Cox, though, to set up the TD. I counted four broken tackles.

Unfortunately the defense can't handle Kent's hurry-up. Since Kent gets the ball to start the second half, they have a shot at turning a 3-pt game into a 17-pt game pretty quickly.

Rourke seems to have the hot hand, so we'll likely see him the rest of the game.

How much is the buyout? We can do this.

Tim Albin Farewell Tour on full display today. It looks like at least one of the teams made adjustments during halftime.

Last two posisessions by Kent State have resulted in two touchdowns in less than five minutes. This is truly painful to watch.

Classic Collins defense! Why is the guy still here?

OU has been unable to tackle for 18 years. Hagan, as good as he was, was a terrible tackler. Drake getting eaten today. Not all on Collins. Our guys just don't want it.

We are putting on a clinic on how not to tackle. Nothing like getting run over by a Kent running back on his way to a TD. Impressive, really impressive.

Tale of two programs here. Sean Lewis is an up-and-coming coach who will probably be gone soon if he keeps winning at Kent, and then there's Albin.

My favorite saying field goals are for losers.

If you are playing big boy football you run the ball twice to get 3 yards.

Are we giving out participation trophies? Can you just put our best 11 out there and play.

Wait, I'm thinking about this all wrong. If we can drive and get it within 7, does that mean we win???

Rourke shows you have to be able to throw the ball in college football today. He gives us a chance to win. But not today because of our poor tackling.

Is Tim Albin really that much of a colossal idiot? How do put the quarterback in the shotgun with one yard to go?

Congratulations! We keep our streak of one-possession MAC losses alive; haven't lost by more than eight points in a MAC game since November 2015! We're now an astounding 10-15 in one-possession MAC games since that time!! Keep those moral victories rollin'!!!

Where were Tuggle and Rogers when it was first and goal from the one? Should have our best rushers in there. Allison is good, but he doesn't seem to have the beef that Tuggle does.

Speaking of beef, our strength conditioning leaves a whole lot to be desired. Kent's first TD came when a WR put his shoulder into a DB and flicked him off like a bug. Never saw a de-cleater come from an offensive player like that. Then Cooper just ran through about three defenders on his TD run.

Mark my words. After Kent wins, you'll see a noticeable drop in engagement from the players paving the way to 1-11. 1-3 in the MAC all but eliminates any hope of a miraculous turnaround.
Mark my words. After Kent wins, OhioBobcat will come on here and let us know how close the Bobcats are from being undefeated in MAC play and that we still have a shot at Detroit.
I was wrong. OhioBobcat didn't even wait until after Saturday's game to come on here with his green koolaid ramblings about OUr Bobcats.
Ohio has beaten Kent State 6 straight times. I'll start believing Kent State can actually beat Ohio the day they do it, which hasn't happened in years. An Ohio win here would not only put Ohio in a tie with the East favorite, it would also essentially put them ahead of Kent State as they'd also own the head-to-head tiebreaker.
I think that sound we all hear is OhioBobcat FINALLY turning the lights out on this Ohio Football season.

Our strength program has been a joke for some time. Kent was bigger, faster and stronger. Our sucky recruiting has caught up with us.

Well if we need to “catch up” it doesn’t look like this recruiting year will be the one.

For full effect I thought it was important to put these all together in one place. Take a look at that sequence and let it sink in. I'm not sure I can remember a sequence like that in all my Bobcat fandom, and I first started following Ohio in 1960 when Bill Hess was coach. I've seen some bad teams in my day, but I don't think either Cleve or PapaL managed this feat.

I will give the players credit, they fought back and had a chance at the end, but to quote my former student, Chuck the Oracle of Huntington, this is unacceptable!

Opening the game with a holding penalty was a real table setter. Let's ya know what the day's gonna be like.

Kent DPI keeps the opening drive afloat. Nice runs around the end for good gains. We turn the ball over on downs with 2 straight runs into no hole.

That QB walking away from the center before a direct snap play has been on opponent film study for over 10 years.

Albin is a clown show. Go be an OC in the Northern Sun Conference or something.

My analogy is that Andy Taylor left town and Barney Fife was named sheriff.
