I will say this....we are not overmatched on either side of the line and both starting tackles are out.

Wear and tear from playing Power 5 teams seems to be catching up with Kent State. This should help Ohio get an edge on the Flashes.

Only chance we have is if Kent State lays an egg in a letdown from playing Top ten teams and plays sloppy and we win the turnover battle and hang around where we win on a late field goal. Pressure is on Kent State. They are 1-3 and this game is like our Duquesne game from last year for Kent State. MAC teams are prone to bad losses. Maybee we catch a break and Kent State just comes out flat.
Three fumbles so far!

Reghi struggled down the first-half stretch. On consecutive plays on Kent's final drive of the half, he credited Tariq Drake's PBU to Adonis Williams then confused Kent's QB Schlee with Ohio QB Rourke.

Maybe I should not watch the second half. I only saw about half the first half.

I watched Ohio first drive which was a 3 and out. The Kent State went and scored on their drive like OUr defense wasn't even on the field. Then Ohio punted again. I was watching Kent go down the field and get to about the Ohio 15 and then I had to go run an errand. Apparently, Kent got sacked and then committed a penalty and had to punt.

I got in my car close to an hour later and the broadcast was going to commercial right after Ohio had kicked a FG to go up 10-7. I was quite surprised at the score. I watched Kent go right down the field and get in FG range with almost no opposition and then decided to drive home. When I got home Kent had apparently fumbled and had the ball back getting set to throw a Hail Mary.

From what I saw it feels like Ohio should be down 28-0 or something like that.

The boys did okay. Have to give them some real credit for hanging in/the fumbles helped a lot too. With all the injuries, you couldn’t really hope for much more.

BIG to hold them to a FG there. They seem like they can run right through us but are making too many fluke mistakes and penalties to get TDs.
