I left a couples wedding shower to watch this. At least there were free drinks at the shower. Never in my life would I even go to such an event let alone regretting my early departure.
Anything's better than a couples shower, IMO.

Did somebody say why don’t we fair catch kick offs? This is an embarrassment
He fumbled the kickoff so a fair catch wouldn't help there.

But with the penalties and the turnovers and miscues on special teams, we're starting to look like the Keystone Kops.
This begs the question why he tried to catch it in the first place. It was headed for the end zone and he was close to the end zone when he caught it.

it seems like every nice play we have is called back because of a bonehead penalty of some sort. This team looks not well coached. And, they are getting worse not better from week to week. I don't think Fordham is in the bag.

Amazing to me that we don’t double number 18. Keep somebody in front and keep somebody behind. At least make it difficult for them. Whats he got 11 catches already?

Another kick off that we do not get back to the 25 yard line. And by the way with the fair catch it’s just a matter of coming up and catching the ball in the air.

First of all...we lost to Duquesne. Fordam is hardly a lock. We are unorganized, have no offense and cannot handle this environment. We just went back to the 80's (again).

That said, I'm sure Albin is hiding our studs and our ability to execute for the MAC schedule (LOL).

I know Iowa State loves it, playing / destroying an FBS school that plays like an FCS school...

Special teams have been terrible and getting worse.

Two shanked punts. Terrible decision making on punt returns. 10 men on the field on the FG attempt. At least we may have found a FG kicker.

At least we've been hitting hard and tackling well.

Rourke looks like a deer in headlights. Our offense maxes out a 40 yds per drive.

Anybody know how much OHIO is getting paid to play this game? That’s the only potential positive thing coming out of today.

I'm ready to concede: Monroe was optimistic. He said his gut instinct was 2-10, my gut now says 1-11. It's not that we are losing, it's how we are losing. We are totally disorganized. While the players are doing stupid things, it's the coaches who are supposed to teach them not to repeat stupid mistakes from previous games. I see zero learning on this team in any facet of the game. In fact, I see it going the other way. I was willing to give TA some benefit of the doubt starting this new year, and I thought the team did look a little better than last year's squad in the FAU game, and last week in defeat, I thought I saw some positives. I've seen like zero positives today. Can anyone point to anything we've done well today?

It's not all doom and gloom. These are P5 schools with P5 athletes. Yes, we need to clean up on offense and special teams. But I'm staying optimistic we will sort them out. Hope to provide a loud atmosphere against Fordham!

The positives: we don't have the level of talent and depth needed to hang with the Big-12 or Big Ten, but our defense is greatly improved as evidenced by pressure on the quarterback and seeing our kids actually wrapping runners up and finishing the tackles. As for the Offense, it's continued missed opportunities that have always marked the Tim Album era, both as a coordinator and now a coach. The Ohio State transfer receiver though, he looks like he could be a real game changer, if only he had a play caller who knew how to utilize him.

On Ohio's back-to-back sacks on ISU's first 2nd-half possession, Decker spun out of a tackle on the 2nd sack and gets tackled 5 yards further back. But the officials gives the line of scrimmage where Decker spun out of the tackle. Can someone explain this? It wasn't forward progress as Decker spun out of the tackle attempt. If he had spun out of it and gained 5 yards I doubt the officials would have placed the line of scrimmage where he avoided the original tackle.

Edit: In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter as Ohio D holds.

Edit: In the grander scheme of things it doesn't matter as Rourke throws another interception.

The D really needs to come together. I realize that we've had "P"s the last two weeks, but this makes three straight games of giving up 30+ points and this one we're on our way to 40 or 50. Kent gave up only 33 to what should be a much better Oklahoma team last week. We had a great stand after the fumble and made them kick a FG, but then had them 3rd and 16 around our 30 and gave up a TD on two plays. We won't see teams like Penn St and ISU again this season but we have maybe four or five at least at FAU's level in the MAC, and giving up 30+ points to half the MAC schedule would probably put us in the bottom half of the worst division in D1A.

I guess we haven’t figured out that we can’t guard this guy one on one. We are just expecting way too much out of our corners against this guy. Give the corner some help. I do agree though, I think our defense is much improved.

Oh, can we get rid of that stupid ass screen.
