The win got them from nowhere to 26th in the AP poll, 32nd in the coaches poll. It'll be interesting to see if they have a letdown at BG this week.
What's a let down? Winning by only 3 TD's?
Judging by how Bowling Green just lost to Eastern Kentucky, a letdown may be 4 touchdowns
Don't know if it was a letdown -- T'erd led 14-0 -- but BG just took them down in OT.

But the mighty have fallen . . . BGSU beats the Mighty Herd in OT 31-28. Who'd have thunk it?

Don’t look now, but BG just beat Marshall! Good for them.

I hate both those teams. Congrats BG. Big win on Homecoming vs this week's media darling and MAC bad blood school.

It's well worth a trip to HerdFans.com to experience the meltdown of Huntingtonians.
Many are calling for a coaching change.

Also, would almost be worth the $1.54 day pass fee to the Herald-Dispatch website to ready Chuckie's reflections on the game...but he didn't file a story. Couple of days ago he predicted an MU blowout. Sorry ass excuse for a "columnist."

Like this board never has irrational posts after a loss, including from your humble correspondent. And, Chuck, for all his idiosyncrasies, does an overall good job. Of course, I'm quite objective in that observation, as he is a former student of mine and took over as sports editor of The Parthenon, the student newspaper, when Jeff Nathan was killed in the crash.

Hmm . . . according to several posts on herdfans.com, where I'm a member, Eddy Morrissey, Marshall's OL coach, submitted his resignation for personal and family reasons last week. This is being offered as a partial excuse for the BG loss. Seems to me that that might be legit. That's a very short timeframe to try to replace an assistant coach who has a very important responsibility. It's certainly not the only reason for the loss, or even the major reason, but it would be a factor, IMHO. The major reason was the turnover margin was decidedly in the Falcon's favor. Neither Huff nor Morrissey fumbled the ball or threw interceptions.
