Yep, the whole tone of the game has changed now. Let's go Bobcats.

I think three of the past four passes by Rourke have been in the hands of the defense. Two were dropped (one near end of first half by the linebacker) and one a Pick Six. This after looking nearly perfect for a while.

Impressive answer. Easily could have led to meltdown. Defense been sharp overall so expect them to keep momentum going.

8:51 to go in third quarter and they announce the free tuition winner. 2/3 of the students leave. Who makes these decisions?

BS or not. It's MAC officials. They will call call everything. Have to play better. And Jacoby Jones is stepping up as well. Transfer portal has been gracious to us to say the least.

Is Dorsey a former LB?

I gotta ask ... here we are 1st and goal on the 1 or 2. Why do we NEVER line up QB under center for either a sneak on the RB not needing to run 6 or 7 yards. If we get the TD great but I don't get the logic of not doing it.

An even bigger question is can we get a different formation when we are trapped on our own 1.

Because they don’t want to spend two periods of practice a week doing goal line under center. And they don’t practice giving or receiving that kind of snap so it’s a good chance of a fumble.

I am beyond impressed with the D tonight. When you think back to giving up 730+ yards to Kent State and just over 150 so far tonight.

My guess is that this game will be even enough that the team that wins the battle of turnovers will come out on top. Both teams have been winning the battle of turnovers. In four MAC games, Buffalo is +8 turnovers combined (+1 EMU, -1 Miami, +3 BG, +5 Toledo), while Ohio is also +8 (+2 Kent, +2 Akron, +4 WMU, +0 NIU).
Sounds like somebody is due for a clunker.
That "clunker" is going to come from Buffalo. I expect this game to be a competitive one. I wouldn't be surprised if Ohio ran away with it, but I fully expect Ohio to jump all over Buffalo early, build a nice double-digit lead, then keep Buffalo at bay the rest of the way, cruising to a relatively easy 7-10 point win. I have no concerns about Buffalo. Until they prove they can go on the road and win in Athens, which they have failed to do in nearly 15 years now, I'm not buying anything they're trying to sell with that program. Even with arguably their best team ever that last visited Athens in a big game, they got bushwacked. They came in pounding their chests and simply got their teeth kicked in. They haven't been tested like this in the MAC this year. Ohio's not going to play dead like BG and EMU, won't fall apart in crunch time like Miami, and isn't going to choke like Toledo. Tonight they'll get a healthy dose of the MAC East champ and will head back to that drab campus with a loss that will keep them from stepping foot in Detroit in December.
I mean, it's not like I didn't say all of this was going to happen. Hell the only thing I was wrong about was how easy this has been for Ohio. This team is winning the MAC!!!

BTW, Kurtis now holds the record for most TD passes in a game, at 5, tied with Boo Jackson against Akron in 2008.
