I will be ceremoniously walking out of the Louisiana Lafayette game on October 30 in protest of the quality of football schedule that has been forced upon our fan base.

Tentative plan is to watch the opening kickoff in the student section, and then walk out en masse with whoever feels the same.

I have no problem whatsoever if I am the only one who heads for the exits.

More to follow in the coming weeks.....

**I can be appeased to halt this exercise with an announcement of a marquee opponent scheduled for Peden in the next couple years. Otherwise, this could get ugly.

**There will be about 3,000 people in the stands total for this crap-tacular....so it won't be a big deal except for the symbolic nature of the gesture made by me and whoever else joins me.

Erm...I think you'll be alone. And I think marketing is going to pounce on the idea that it is Halloween Saturday to ensure that it's an awesome crowd.

You'll probably get some drunk students to walk out with you since they don't want to miss something like  a protest whatever the reason.  And they'd only be leaving 10 minutes early anyway.

The comments and threatened actions just get more egocentric every day.  someone needs some Prozac.

LOL this is entirely unnecessary, for one did you really need the big and bold print for this?  Two if I am driving from Columbus to Athens to watch the game, I'm not walking out no matter who is playing unless the weather is conspiring against me.  Three when you want to get changes made you usually need a lot of support (or are a big donor) and unfortunately for you, you are in a minority. The only benefit of this post will be the active involvement by readers writing about how they will be disregarding your call and some might lose even more respect for you.  You have some really good opinions at times, but things like this just bring you down.

What if they actually win one or three of these games then come to Athens and Ohio wins?? THAT IS WHY YOU PLAY THE GAME.

Just wait until after the 110 is done playing at half time.  I thought there was a walkout every game at that point.

I read this board to keep up with as much Ohio Athletic information as possible. I live in Nashville, so it helps me keep up. However, I bleed Ohio green, and I for one am very pleased with the leadership shown by Jim Schaus, Frank Solich and John Groce. We should be excited with the upcoming season in both sports. How about we get a huge crowd and severely cripple the efforts of Bobcat Love.

way to take a stand. I guess you'll be the one in the Summers Eve costume?

Better idea. Why don't we all form a protest and not respond to postings from the egomaniac (aka, Bobcat Love).

What a waste of time. I am always amazed how many (myself at this moment)  waste time fighting or responding to his ridiculous posts.

Love. You are entitled to your own opinion. Now leave and stop being the blowhard that you are! TOOL!

This protest idea is getting a warm reception.  How 'bout a spinoff--why not show your support for Game 5 He Quit by wearing his new Heat jersey at an Indians' home game?!

Funny remarks by all in regards to the protest. You know my dad saw Kentucky's schedule and Ohio's. He will be looking into Ohio season tickets and not be getting UK tickets, maybe he will go to 1 UK game. Then again, he only has a Kentucky flag in his garage and a proudly supports Big Blue. He is most looking forward to the Buffalo game, so how about that? He cares more about Ohio beating Buffalo than State, because it is all about winning the confrence. That is pretty shocking, yet a common SEC point of view.

I do believe you and anybody with your mind set should walk out and walk up to the bridge by the stadium and jump headfirst into the  Hocking River.    Hope the water is high enuf for you to make a big splash.
In the meantime - GO BOBCATS !    I will be the stands until after the final second of the game.  I intend to enjoy every second of BOBCATS FOOTBALL that I can for the year (12 games - including one or two in Detroit)- therefore, I won't be thinking about you.  I'll very happily leave the sceduling and coaching to the Bobcat Athletic Directors and Coaches.
BOBCAT FANS - BE AT EVERY GAME AND SUPPORT THE BOBCATS TO THE FULLEST!

Let me just say...

...as I ease out of the office
I helped build...

I'm sorry, but it's a fact that
there's such a thing... as manners.

A way of treating people.

These fish have manners.

In fact, I'm starting a new company
and the fish will come with me.

Call me sentimental,
but the fish are coming with me.

Okay.

If anybody else
wants to come with me, -

- this is a chance for something
real, and fun, and inspiring -

- in this godforsaken business,
and we will do it together.

Who's coming with me?

Who's coming with me?

Who's coming with me
besides Flipper here?

This is embarrassing.

All right.
Wendy, shall we?

I'm three months away
from the pay increase...

Okay.

Since I don't watch any TV series, I look to BobcatAttack for onscreen home entertainment. Bobcat Love provides it in spades.  Well, along with some of the witty responses his posts generate.  Thanks, folks.

Will there be a counter-protest?  What will they do--walk in?  Will they refuse to walk-in if the opponent isn't lousy enough?
