I'm not an AT but I always thought a hyper extension was when the knee bends the opposite direction its supposed to.
I hurt my left knee when I was wrestling in college.

They said it was "hyperextended", even though it wasn't bent in the opposite
direction.

The trainer said "hyperextension" is if a joint goes beyond its normal "range of motion" regardless of direction.
That would make sense, still not sure if that is the case after watching the replay several times.

Very impressed the way Harris came in and seemed to mature as the game progressed. With each play he seemed to gain confidence. While he's not the passer that Rourke is, he's adequate and will get better. He may be a better runner than Rourke. I think with a week of practice as the #1 QB, we will be able to tailor plays to his strengths and develop a game plan around those strengths. We will be more than ready. Go Bobcats!
I thought CJ played well, all things considered.

He's literally never played. He gets thrown into a sleeting mess with swirling wind into his face. He knows they NEED a W. His first snap is fumbled (it looked like it was NOT a run to Bangura... or maybe it was an option keeper, and CJ didn't make the proper call...?)

Remove the holding call on Foster, that was a nice 20 yarder to Wigs. Then Wigs had drop for about 15. I believe he had one more drop for good measure. Also about 10 yards. (7/8 for 80 yards... not bad, not bad)

Those 3 plays to basically start your career... I think he could've looked and felt different had they been complete. He couldn't find a rhythm.

The sky is not falling.

CJ takes all the first team reps. They have time to work in some special packages that aren't all air raid... work on timing with Bangura, Wigs & Co... I think we can shock some people. He's from Michigan. He's used to the cold. He threw for 3,500 yards in HS. He can and will do this.
I agree. I thought he handled himself very well. His reaction to the situation resulted in a solid outcome. (E + R = O) The young man did quite well in his debut! Thanks for posting.

This team is uncommonly resilient, at least for an Ohio squad. How many times in the past have we seen teams totally self destruct after the first sign of trouble?

That's exactly what happened to NIU whem Lombardi went down in the Vanderbilt game. NIU had a two touchdown lead at that time. They lost that game and their season has been in the toilet ever since.
