Not sure how smart that was. Run the ball twice take time off the clock you’re still 10 ahead and they have 98 yards to go for a touchdown.

The Real Ohio came out after half.

If they play like this it's their MAC Chip to lose.

I know we have a solid offense and the D is improving. However, it is a road game against our rival. Albin beats OUr rival after rolling up undefeated Buffalo (4-0) I'll send him a gift card to the College Book Store for a new sideline hat. A collapsible hat with a belt buckle snap is not great gear for a D1 Football Coach.

I'm a hat snob FYI. Fitted, 6 panel, eight seamed lids only. Get a lid from Coach Moore for goodness sake.
Now I don't feel like I'm the only one who gets picky about stuff like that. The hat Frank usually wore toward the end of his career wasn't what I would pick. First, our athletic gear shouldn't say "Ohio University" when we try (though apparently not hard enough) to get sportscasters to call us "Ohio." And then there's the overall design of that hat. It looked like something someone who couldn't care less about athletics would pick out. Just awful. Don't get me started on Albin's paw logo sweatshirt. What kind of hat does coach Moore wear?

After being on this board for 10+ years as a lurker, it takes this ideocracy to get me to finally post. I believe that this hat was designed by Coach Boals, and promotes social justice and the proceeds support the Ebony Scholars program at OU. The fact that this offends someone or they think this is a bad look, does not say much for the mission of OU.

Frankly, find this sad, that of all that is going on, this is what someone wants to comment on!!!!
I'm with you on this 100%

Hopefully, this means Ball State will not be motivated next week. Finn won't be hurting nearly so bad in the MACC so I would rather play Ball St. than a healthy Toledo but we have to get there first so for now I think this helps out chances.

There were lots of good things in this game. There were some great throws and catches, of course, another great game for Kurtis. It was awesome to have Bangura back; he's a difference maker. How about the offensive line? They got stronger and stronger as the game went on, and in the second half, they were totally dominant. Then there was the time management, burning clock at the end of both halves to keep Miami on the sidelines. And, of course, the defense had another solid game.

Go Bobcats.

41 minutes vs 19 minutes.

That's how you control a game.

That includes the half where the defense gave up two super quick TD's going the length of the field.

Now, the offense running and passing that certainly is a thing of beauty.

Edit: I'd also like to see Bostic get more involved in the short passing game. With his size and strength, he can deal out some punishment on the Fiami secondary. He's like having a big RB running loose.
Bostic having a big night so far. Fiami obsessed with Wiglusz. That's OK, we've got more playmakers than they can double!
Bostic sure looks like an NFL receiver, have no idea his 40 time and other combine stats but he looks the part.

Announcer last night referred to him as a "specimen" and I would have to agree.

I wonder how Gabbert is doing, he got folded in half on the last play.

The play just before he was jawing at our D line, like he was pissed they were making him run. Yeah man, you don't get a freebie shot at the endzone just because there's only a couple ticks left. Not surprised he got crumpled, he was the only 'hawk still playing. You're not going to score a 16 pointer at the buzzer.

Six minutes drive to end the first half and 7 minutes 20 seconds drive to start second half. Almost 13-1/2 minutes of straight possession netting 10 points.

Hilariously, Miami scores a TD in less than 1-1/2 minutes on their next possession putting their defense right back on the field.

I think he was talking about the construction of the hat (strap in the back instead of fitted, and so on). I don't think he was saying anything about the logo on the front.

Interesting to see where he ends up -- maybe somewhere in the Sun Belt?
