Defense can't get off the field because our offense can't stay on the field.

And another thing....Anyone seen wearing Ohio State paraphernalia on campus this week, ESPECIALLY ON GAME DAY should be confronted. In an ideal world if the offender is a current student, they should be reported to Dean of Students office and expelled from school.

If you want to be an OSU fan that bad where you are willing to root against your own school than go to Columbus for an education.

The wearing of other school's apparel was dealt with rather sternly by Dean Lombardi at all of this summer's freshmen orientations.  He actually called-out students, made them stand up in front of their peers and parents, and explain why they decided to put that Ohio State shirt on when they were attended Ohio University orientation event.  There were about 200 students and their parents in attendance during these events.  He went on to tell them that wearing other school's stuff on OUr campus was not acceptable and then gave each of the culprits an Ohio University tee shirt and made them put it on. He made it clear to all the incoming freshmen that they chose to come to Athens and loyalty is expected from each and every student on campus.  I don't know how many years this has been done but at least someone is trying to make changes in the student's attitudes about school loyalty.  I respect Dean Lombardi for his efforts and his willingness to step up and take a stand.

Too bad he can't expel them for repeated offenses...because sadly I'm sure once they were out of sight they just got the OSU crap back out and didn't even give it a second thought.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone who has a problem with this at any level is a fool and not worthy of being a Bobcat fan, let alone an alum. When you enroll at Ohio University you remove all Ohio State University at Columbus gear.

Got 4 tickets last night last minute. 2 are in section 4B and I couldn't round up any of my buddies to go. I'm leaving out from Dayton at 8 and should be in Columbus 9:30-10ish. Face value for the two is $140. I'll take $99, as I didn't have to purchase them myself.

Only 2 games in and we already have a million injuries. I know OSU lost their safety for the year, but it's amazing that they remain so healthy overall even after playing a tough Miami team. I know this is not the time or place for this discussion, but I still question our training/conditioning staff because we always seem to have an inordinate number of injuries compared to other teams. Oh well, let's hope the backups can step up and we don't get embarassed.
BuddyLee, one of the reasons Ohio is having the success you have seen is that the cats play and practice to be more physical than the other teams. It can be costly yet you would not want it any other way.

Let me get this right - you got them for free ("as i didn't have to purchase them myself") and now you want to sell them for $99?  Whatever happened to Bobcat generosity?
