I believe that the line for OSU vs Marshall was 28.5.

What is Bates' status?  Me thinks we could use him.

Having observed Ohio State in person against Miami, I hate to admit the Buckeyes are really, really good. Ohio's only hope Ohio State plays an awful game and makes the worst possible mistakes in the worst possible spots. Before the season, I didn't think Ohio State was quite this good and certainly I thought Ohio was better than it has shown, and maybe the Bobcats still are. Two games is still a relatively small sample size.

Terrelle Pryor and Ohio State did not commit any turnovers against Miami, so hopefully they'll be due this week. Pryor still isn't extremely accurate nor does he always make the best decisions. Against Miami, the good thing was he didn't put too many balls anywhere close to where they could be picked.

The other flaw the Buckeyes have shown is in their special teams. They gave up two returns for TDs, and we know the Bobcats have a great return man. Returning a punt for a TD might be essential to be in this game because Ohio's offense, from what it has shown, isn't going to put many points on the board. Hopefully, the Bobcats can get lucky and hit on a couple of big plays downfield because I don't think they'll have many sustained drives of more than a few first downs. Ohio State's defensive line is good, and Ohio's offensive line has not been, so that is trouble.

I'm sure the Bobcats will be inspired for this game and I hope they are not intimidated. They have nothing to lose. At this point, even Ohio fans expect a beatdown unfortunately. Maybe we can just keep it close and then who knows from there.

By the way, I have media access to the game and will be taking photos from the sidelines. If I can do anything for the benefit of Bobcat Attack, I'd be glad to do so.

Take a nice picture of the corner of the stadium where all the OU fans will be sitting after the Cats take the lead late in the 4th.

If, and only IF (and that is a huge if) we can fix all our kinks on offense AND at least some on special teams then I'm calling it 13-10 cats with a last minute field goal from the 50.

Yes I realize that is too specific to call but I figure what the heck, I'll have fun with this one

And another thing....Anyone seen wearing Ohio State paraphernalia on campus this week, ESPECIALLY ON GAME DAY should be confronted. In an ideal world if the offender is a current student, they should be reported to Dean of Students office and expelled from school.

If you want to be an OSU fan that bad where you are willing to root against your own school than go to Columbus for an education.

Encouraging people to confront at least 50% of the student population doesn't sound like a productive idea.

Go OHIO!

...... but please understand that when I say "Go OHIO" I mean "Go OHIO, try not to get beat too bad" and in no way should it be implied or inferred by my statement of support that I think that there is a realistic chance of winning. I'm humbled and honored to get the chance to watch my favorite team lose to the all mighty Buckeyes. My only regret is that we have but one loss to give to them this year.

keepin' it real has got me pumped! can't wait for saturday, wooooo!

Arkley tweets nothing but bad news for the Ohio D.  G. Moore is still out, and S. Jackson, Huynh, Notestine, and Keller are all questionable for Saturday.  Keller and Dak got MRIs today.

Anybody else going the game. I'm in section 28c row 39 seats 9-10.  I think its upper deck by the endzone.
Should be fun atleast to see the Bobcats take their best shot at the #2 team in the country.  Buckeyes haven't lost to a MAC team and no Ohio team since 1928 (oberlin). Would be a "game changer" for the program  to spoil the Buickeyes national championship hopes on Saturday.  We got a decent defense so I'm hoping we hang around to give us a chance like last time and perhaps the breaks go our way in the fourth quarter this time.

Wow, that is awful news. I would not be suprised to see Keller and Dak sit this one out, just so they can save themselves for the rest of the season.

The little hope I was holding onto winning this game is starting to fade really quick.

I was always hoping that our defense could keep us in a game so we can pounce on any mistakes and give us a punchers chance with our passing game. Of course that was already fading after our performance last week. Before this news I was thinking our defense can stll keep us in the game but the offense might just put the defense in too many bad spots to matter. NOW I have to worry about our defense not being able to stop them either.

Someone talk me down from the ledge...

Amen 28!

That's the most salient post I've seen on this board since the bump in the road Saturday night.  Is it really too much to ask for a single day of loyalty...No one's saying you have to paint yourself G&W...Just leave the red and pewter in the closet for the day!

I seriously doubt very many students will be rooting on the scarley/grey on Saturday.

I saw the pure excitement when we beat Georgetown first hand.   I think most students have the attitude that they will root for OSU UNLESS, they are playing Ohio.

Now, what bugs me even more is people FROM Athens who are rooting for the Buckeyes...

Interesting fact:

Jim Bollman, Ohio State's offensive coordinator, is a former Bobcat football player from 1973-1977.  He played offensive tackle for the Bobcats under coach Hess.

Man, and here I was thinking this was our year to have the best chance at taking down 'State. Our odds are looking slimmer and slimmer as the week goes on.

bobcat28 is right on. It's ridiculous to be rooting for someone to beat your own school. It is equally ridiculous for the students and fans of Ohio to not care that some of their own fellow students are publicly rooting against them.

Only 2 games in and we already have a million injuries.  I know OSU lost their safety for the year, but it's amazing that they remain so healthy overall even after playing a tough Miami team.  I know this is not the time or place for this discussion, but I still question our training/conditioning staff because we always seem to have an inordinate number of injuries compared to other teams.  Oh well, let's hope the backups can step up and we don't get embarassed.
