Not gonna jump off the page, but his relationship with Navarro could land him in Athens. We seem to do well with these shifty little guys. Looks like he returned punts for them as well.

There is every year. 50% find themselves out of football from the portal every year.
Has anyone - here or professionally - done any follow up on this? Like a Where Are They Now type of situation with 2022 or 2023 portal guys? Did they end up eventually in D2? Did they re-enter the portal in 2024?
Every year I'm floored by the amount of guys who left a situation, of course we dont know every situation - its a tough sport, with hardly any time to be a college student and maybe some of these guys were 'forced' out due to being like 7th on the depth chart, maybe they never liked football to begin with - but do they "jump back in"? Do they get picked back up eventually? Or 1K+ of these guys wash out entirely?
Yes, you can find articles when it’s all said and done after both Portal Seasons on, UP, DOWN or OUT. Same for basketball. And as Mike and I discussed somewhere, with each team having to shed on average 23 roster spots, the numbers will be greater this year.
I know you can see on On3 the total numbers, but what I'm wondering is if someone is tracking the movement between divisions or tiers.

Of the 3,000 portal jumpers... 1000 came from the P5 and only 800 signed with other P5, but 200 went G5. Of 1500 G5, 300 went up.... 700 went to FCS, 200 went D2, etc
How many of those were scholarship players? 500 people gave up scholarships to go home and watch games on TV.
