I was at the game and the officiaiting was terrible. The one interception was pass interference...the spot... an offensive pass intereference call from the other side of the field.
I"m not going to make excuses though and that's my point. Solich is a very good defensive coach and they schemed us well. Unfortunately we kept running a five foot five back into the middle of the line over and over.
I will say I was disappointed in the mocking of the Temple sideline by Ohio. IMO that shows a lack of discipline.
Again.. good luck against Kent State.. Hopefully you'll root for us against Miami of Ohio.
1. If running a 5'5" guy into the line who has 700 yards gained for the season is a bad idea then how did he get 700 yards? Why was he recruited? Why was he given the ball?
2. If you don't want mocked then don't stick your neck out by doing something on the sidelines that is more suitable in the dugout at a women's softball game. In the midwest we don't see that sort of thing. It's odd to us. We work more on football type stuff.
3. Don't forget to include the weather in placing blame along with the officiating because obviously the weather and the officiating was in our favor all night long.
4. Injuries that occur anytime are bad news. Yours just happened to occur last night in the game. Ours were not so noticeable having occurred weeks earlier. Still, not having your best players on the field is a risk of the game.
5. Thanks for wishing us luck against Kent. You know we will all be routing for you against Fiami.
PS: Did you video your two defensive lineman standing and posing overtop our QB after they knocked him down rather brutally and unnecessarily?
