The table was set for US. WE didn't take advantage of it. Quit whining!

Miami didn't piss down its leg when the season mattered most. Can we say that?

Congrats to them.

Nope. But we took them to the woodshed in their house. So I'll go ahead and say Ohio is better.

Congrats to Miami! Impressive!

Words that should never be spoken in this forum.......

It doesn't make me happy, but guess what? They are champions. We couldn't beat a 4-7 Kent when it mattered the most. They beat a team everyone considered to be the best team in the MAC when it mattered the most.

Miami couldn't beat Ohio when it mattered.  They also had the easiest possible crossover games, playing the bottom two West teams.  No question the Redhawks are the champions and hats off to them, but I don't understand why people have to hate on Ohio because of this.  If anything, this makes Ohio's win over Miami all the more sweet.  Ohio also dominated Temple when a lot was on the line, too, don't forget about the game right before the Kent game.

Is Miami really good or just really lucky?

All i know is they're not as good as Ohio.

They got it done. Ohio didn't.

Miami is the champs. They get a trophy, and not because it's Everybody Gets a Trophy Day.

Ohio should get All-You-Can-Eat-Tacos and a trip to the Serta factory so they can crap the bed again - this time literally.

But in fairness, they should be good, fancy cuisine tacos, because they did have a winning season.

Our Bobcats played the Miami and Temple games with passion. Didn't see that with Toledo and Kent.

I'm not hating on Ohio. Winning 7 in a row is not easy and they did what they needed to do after the slow start ... Up until the last game. It's a bitter pill to have to swallow.

I think out of NIU, Toledo, OHIO and Miami, if you picked any two of those teams at random and had them play each other I don't think Nostradomus could accurately predict the winner.

Perimeter...agreed!  Let's just make sure the MAC and the Bowl selectors realize those four are all BETTER than Temple (who should sit home).

Cograts to miami.  i don't like'em but I respect 'em.  They did get it done when we counted.  We almost did.  Temple wasn't even close!

It was not that Kent trap game in 20 degree weather that really killed us. The Toledo game killed us as we hung in that one without winning it. We had Toledo at home and should have been better prepared. Ohio wins that and it wins the East with a tie breaker over Miami.

As much as I hate to say this but congratulations to Miami.  They battled back after some lopisded losses (including Ohio I might add) and it paid off in the end.  I am looking forward already to next year's game in Athens.  Ok, now back over the basketball side to get ready for the Marshall game.  Heading to Athens in 4 hours!!!  GO BOBCATS!

Is there anyone even at the game?   Wow, talk about lack of a crowd for a championship game!

That's what happens when teams have less than a week to sell tickets and make travel arrangements.

I'm sure that's what you'll see at the SEC, ACC,  and Big 12 championship games today as well.

Hell the CUSA game will kick the MACC in the arse.......but it's a home game for UCF essentially.

Its time to go back to the alternating divisional home field.  Enough of scenic Detroit.  I would rather see 12K in a 25K seat cold stadium than 12K in an 80K seat Ford Field.

We blew it. We worked hard for seven weeks in a row to put ourselves in a great spot and we blew it. Hopefully, we get a chance for a bowl game, but if it doesn't happen, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We had an opportunity to do something special and we didn't do it..
