Miami's for real.  I wish we had one QB that could throw as well as Miami's 2nd string QB.

I think we do, but he's not eligible until next year.   Watch Roback in the spring game.  I think he's the real deal.  Also, heard good things about Snyder.

Totally agree, Mark.  And maybe we do ... but he's being redshirted.

I suppose through some twisted logic, if Miami defeats NIU, we can claim to be the best in the MAC, having defeated the Redhawks.

Cat4Ever, I like the way you think.  In the event of a Redchicken win, would you please send your thoughts to the Sun Bowl selection committee.

Is there anyone even at the game?   Wow, talk about lack of a crowd for a championship game!

That's what happens when teams have less than a week to sell tickets and make travel arrangements.

Yes, the attendance is always much better in the MCB/Pizza Bowl in the same stadium a few weeks later, even when it's the day after Christmas.  I believe over the last six years or so the MCB/Pizza had attendances ranging from a hight of about 60,000 to a low of around 30,000.  The high, I think, was CMU-Purdue a few years ago.  This is all from memory, so I might be off just a tad.

Not to mention both teams have at least 6 hours or so to drive in order to get there....and it is in Detroit, which if you have seen the area the stadium is in then enough said.

With NIU backed up against its own goal line, I think it would be funny if Miami would win with a safety.

Sickening. I've never seen a team given so many wins in my life.

Wow-Miami sure does have the luck but hey, I'll take luck any day.  I'd like to think that Miami can thank Ohio for winning the championship.  We beat them so bad that they decided to win the rest of their games and the MAC Championship.   You're welcome, Miami.

Amen to that!  And as much as it pains me to say it (and it does pain me) I think that unfortunately Miami's at least as good as Ohio.  Sure Ohio clobbered Miami.  OK.  So what did we do then?  We laid an egg against a then 4-7 team and got our butts kicked.  Miami just kept winning and winning the games they had to win.  We didn't.

Miami didn't piss down its leg when the season mattered most. Can we say that?

Congrats to them.
