Looks like Toledo/FIU in Detroit and Miami/MTSU in Mobile which means that NIU would be headed to Boise.

I think they are synchronizing with The MAC office. The MAC had 5:00 PM today as their announcement time for all the MAC team bowls.

If we're forced to play a Sun Belt team I guess Troy would be my first choice.

Looks like Temple is going to get the best bowl and opponent in the MAC again.

Troy Fan Site says their Band Director posted that they are going to New Orleans Bowl. Others in the thread say they will play Ohio. take it for what it is worth.

Doubt it.  My guess would be that MTSU joins WMU on the sidelines.  FIU to Mobile vs. Fiami; somebody like L'ville to Detroit vs. NIU; Toledo to Boise; Temps to El Paso.

Not according to the rumors listed above, which seem to have some substance to them. MTSU is in Moble vs. Miami and FIU to take on Toledo in Detroit. Hence, Temple and Western Michigan would be the two bowl eligible teams to miss out on a bowl.

Just saw the Toledo thing elsewhere.  If Temps is out, that would be a damn shame because they've have a good season.  It would maybe shut up Mutton Head 55 IQ, tho.  CBS has taken them off the board, too.  They now have ND going to the Sun.  They still have us playing MTSU in Nawlins.

HMMM, should we be booking hotel rooms (refundable of course) like the people on the Troy fan site are doing? Do we really care more about Temple, WMU????. Can we possibly say "OU screwed again" when it looks like we are going bowling in New Orleans????

Be careful on the hotel reservations. I have already queued up a few to find they are non-refundable. The NO Bowl site has hotel links at a discount too.
