The travel package is a joke you are paying for transportation you really don't need unless you can't walk moderate/long distances and of course fees for the travel agency.  In the sticky travel thread I gave instructions on how to get a standard room at the Best Western St. Christopher (4 stars) off Canal St for two nights for $156 total, way cheaper than the Hilton.  And I also ended up flying with Delta for about $259 total round-trip for myself.

I was gonna go the the Bash, but they don't have any non-pork foods and my older brother doesn't eat pork, so that kind killed that option.


Thanks for the input, booked on my own.  I also had a similar issue as one in my party is jewish and doesn't eat pork and I was assured when I called it was all beef hot dogs with chili and cheese.  That should really be on the web!

In +3.  Booked at the Hilton Riverside.  Can't wait to get there.  I was in New Orleans, more specifically Huck Finn's, going crazy with a group of Bobcats during the Georgetown game last March. Those are great memories and I'm ready to create some more.

I wish I could go but it would be impossible for me to go due to travel reasons.

It should be a great day though for Bobcat sports. I'm actually going to the Ohio-Saint Bonaventure game. Gonna root hard for the green and white.

Then, I'm going to drive back home to Buffalo, and watch the OU game later that night with some of my friends that i've converted to become OU fans.
