I’m actually pleasantly surprised that the announcers are this good.

I mean c’mon, news flash-we ain’t playing in the Rose Bowl, and we are never getting Keith Jackson, Pat Summeral, Verne Lundguist as announcers for one of our games, ever. These guys at have a pulse and are at least humorous, unlike 99% of ESPN’s announcers.

It’s just a game people, relax.

And they’re actually focused more on the game than CFP. I’m not 100% impressed with Barstool Sports either, but it’s not all bad.

I’m just trying to enjoy the fact that we’re playing in a bowl game.

I would be classified in the “old crowd” and I’m actually enjoying it. Frankly, give me this, including actually paying attention to the teams playing, over the playoff hype broadcasts.

Hey I’m old, soon to be 72, and as college sports notably these mind numbingly boring bowl games are these days, this production is really a breath of fresh air, although different.
