They're horrible. I mean horrible. No decent team is down 31-7 at the half in a bowl game. We can talk all night long about play makers and quality recruits. But in the end, this team sucks. End of story.

I am over pulling for this team.

Maybe we should play a tougher schedule. Right, Love? We shouldn't be playing the likes of Troy. They're chicken &^%*. We should be playing Virginia Tech. Then we'd be for real.

Don't bother Love he's writing a letter to the A10.

Officiating at the b-ball game may have been bad but our offense today (both football and b-ball) has been weak. We took about 35 more shots than the Bonnies. So the officiating is a weak excuse. But I'm sure Love will have some asinine answer.

He apparently has yet to grasp we're in the MAC -- not Big 10, not ACC, not SEC.

Frank's going to have to get his head from the deepest portion of his ass to turn this around. You're not a quality coach when you're team is consistently blown out in meaningful games. It's Frank's job to identify the weaknesses of this team and correct them. So far, I see nothing since Kent State.

Q: what's worse than getting fired from a 9 win Nebraska team?
A: getting fired from a 8 win OHIO team.

joking obvi, but he needs to feel some legit heat for this travesty before he offically becomes the Wade Phillips of the MAC.

Maybe -- just maybe we really weren't deserving of a bowl bid.  I'd rather stay home than be trashed this bad on national TV. At least N. Illinois got a W today.

Huh? Frank isn't on the field. He's not getting beat every play.  If these guys can't execute on the field after 12 games then they need to shoulder a lot of the blame.

How about attempting some form of pass rush on this team?

Is sitting Boo most of the first half a punishment on him, or more of a punishment on all the fans spending hundreds of dollars to make that trip?

Hey Fox.....I dont want your support...real easy to root for a winning team....but Im going to stick with my school through the thick and thin...it makes winning (Georgetown win, future big games) that much more worth it....Why dont you go root for Ohio State and claim you can like them because you live in the state of ohio....its much easier to do...but being a true fan isnt always easy.

You gotta wonder what prepping the coaches did since they learned they were playing Troy.  The offense looks the same as it did against Kent, only without so many TOs.  No jet sweeps, little motion and nothing to keep the Troy D guessing.  And this time, the D just plain sucks.  One could argue that all the 3&outs by the O is wearing out the D, but they had NO stops even before the O stopped functioning.  (Holding a team to a field goal after a 50+ yard drive is hardly a "stop.")

They're finally mixing things up here in the 3rd Q, but it's kind of late.

Thanks Hocking. I'll do just that. Let me know when you know the first damn thing about me. Then maybe (maybe) I'll give a ^&%*.

Oh wait...we scored! How? Passing the football with BOO.  Hmm maybe we are onto something here...how many TDs do we need to score to win if we allow only FGs....err never mind here comes Troy AGAIN!

Anyone who thinks that Phil Bates is our best option at QB in 2011 is nuts.   He has had plenty of time to show his skills this year.  He isn't a QB.

Well NIU did very well today.  I liked seeing the MAC play well on the national stage.  Unfortunately we didn't keep the trend going...On the plus side, we aren't getting shut out.  We aren't going to win so I would hope we start putting in seniors that are back-ups and some freshmen for the experience.  Maybe Troy will do the same.  Its a glorified practice now so its time to groom the youth for the future.

Bates CAN run.  Maybe convert him to a Josh Cribbs type of player, WR/RB/wildBOBcat hybrid...Who else can play QB other than Tettleton?

Yes, I agree he can run.  But remember, you have to be able to pass to keep teams off balanced.  He could be a great RB.

I would like to see Solich give Synder and the ND transfer a shot.    Or maybe consider another Juco transfer that has an arm.

I could support a team retooling that isn't bowl eligible next year if it means grooming a legit 3 or 4 year starter at QB.  I'd give anyone a shot.
